Integrity in pricing and billing is the standard at Rocky
Mountain Transcription. We provide you with clear, concise
invoices on a twice-monthly basis at a determined “per line”
rate based on those services you require.
Line Count Definition
Line count is calculated by dividing the number of characters
by 65.
What is a Character?
It is any typed letter, number, space, punctuation mark,
apostrophe, quote, etc. Characters that you cannot see, but
are generated by the transcriptionist (i.e., spaces or
carriage returns) are represented internally in the text
document and are counted. Virtual word-wrapping returns that
are generated by the word processing software are not
counted.
